The Family of Salomon Hindler & Dora Wolfowitsch

 

This page is devoted to the memories of Erna Hindler, wife of Walter Aufrichtig, and her parents, Salomon Hindler and Dora Wolfowitsch Hindler who were all murdered at Chelmno in 1942.

Dr. Elisabeth Ben David-Hindler, daughter of Hans Hindler, a cousin of Erna Hinder's father, Salomon Hindler, initiated a project for the remembrance of the Viennese Jewish population in a quarter of the Second district, the "Street of Remembrance". Through Dr Elisabeth's project and this website, we honour their memory.
