The following family of Aufrichtigs are descended from Herman Aufrichtig, for whom there is no established date or place of birth. Both his sons, Ernst Aufrichtig and Max Aufrichtig were born in Breslau, Silesia from which this line takes part of its identity. Although with origins in the same city as the much larger Breslau Aufrichtigs group, there is no known connection.  One section of this family moved to Hamburg, which has been added to the description to help distinguish it from the larger group.

The Breslau-Hamburg Aufrichtigs include world famous contralto Sabine Kalter, who was the wife of Max Aufrichtig,
